Just the eve preceding Durga Puja 2007, I tried to sit back with the list of my peeps to be wished. I made the biggest mess in my life, by missing out Shalini (Alabama), Neha (Jordon), Tim (Miami) and even my own Cousin (Glasgow). I was, however, extra cautious before Diwali 2007.

Better life is obtained through wishing for a better life for your friends and folks. And wishing a better life for others is not all that a big deal; its just a matter of a minute. That's what my grandpa used to teach me when I was a kid. I wondered... wishing good to someone who's miles away is matter of a minute! We couldn't even thought of fiber optics and gel pads some twenty years back. But it's really a matter of a minute. Things are all your finger tips.
Just a few hours after the Indian flag be flaunted in the sky, there will be another great Indian event. Raksha Bandhan is treading in fast and I am sure sisters have already started arranging for this big event. It's for those unlucky princesses, who are going to be away from their brother this Raksha Bandhan, that they can spread the aura of their presence around their brothers even from miles away!
Even from miles away you can let your brother know how much you love him! Even from miles away you can make him feel special by showering him in the fountain of wishes. If you are looking for ways to reach out to your brother with your soulful messages, Raksha Bandhan eacrds are the best ways ever to convey your thoughts. But not all of them are the best to convey your thoughts. Check out these coolest Raksha Bandhan eacrds that I just came across and I think these are the best across the board.
So far away, I am, still so close to my nation, I feel. Trust me... I miss the flavor of those pickles and those typical Indian dishes, especially when it comes to the Indian events like Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali etc.
Indian Independence Day is edging in fast. It is the day to commemorate the jubilant victory of India over the foreign rule. It's a day that comes in with opportunities to celebrate the victory, an opportunity to adorn the country with all saffron, white and green, an opportunity for Indian to stand up with head held high and chin up with pride and here's again an opportunity to go gaga over the 62nd anniversary of Indian Independence Day celebration.
Another great activity on this day is kite flying. Although, I haven't yet got a chance to view the Indian sky on Indian Independence Day, but I have seen many pics. I heard that it's a much awaited event on the Indian Independence Day and people of all generations all over the country wait for an opportunity to flash their vibrant flying machines, adding a multi-colored hue to the Indian sky on the day.
I was surfing randomly, while I just came across this you tube video. I am sure Indians across the globe will enjoy this.
If you are away from your folks, I am sure you are going to miss them on special events - especially Indian Independence Day. Check out these vibrant patriotic cards. Send out these cards to your folks and friends to wish Happy Independence Day.
Why doesn't He send girls with a brother free? This was what I used to think when I was a child. Raksha Bandhan has always been dull for me since my childhood. Because one of my cousins live in India while the other in New Jersey. None of them could ever come on Raksha Bandhan... nor did I ever go there. It's only on events like Thanksgiving and Christmas, when we have really blasting get together each year, but things are entirely different during those time of the year. I miss them badly each year on Raksha Bandhan. I can understand the pain of being away from brothers and sisters on the most special events like Raksha Bandhan.
Here are some really thoughtfully designed 'Miss You' cards that offer tons of awesome opportunities to reach out to your brothers and sisters with your heartfelt thoughts and messages on Raksha Bandhan.
